2019 Chevrolet Silverado Offers More Truck For Less
Pickup trucks are big business in America. Not least of all for Chevy, which is in the midst of rolling out its all-new Silverado. And the new full-size pickup offers a compelling proposition of “more for less.” The 2019 Silverado is bigger than the outgoing model in just about every way imaginable. Take the Crew Cab, for example, with the short box. Riding on a wheelbase 3.9 inches longer than the previous model, with the wheels pushed further out to the extremities, it's 1.7" longer, 1.2" wider, and 1.5" taller.
Go all the way to the top and you're looking at $54,495 for the luxed-out High Country, (which comes standard with the Crew Cab, short bed, and 6.2-liter V8 mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission. All told, there's eight trim levels on offer, six engine options, three bed lengths, three cabs, and a whole lot more packages and options. So whatever you want to use it for, the new Silverado can be configured just the way you want it – and do more for less in the process. And that strikes us as a win-win, no matter which way you look at it.
