It was last October when Chevrolet lifted the wraps off the 2021 Colorado facelift. At the time, Chevrolet only showed off the rugged ZR2 version, but now the automaker has released photos of the more affordable LT and Z71 trims with the updated styling.

As expected, these look less extreme than the hardcore ZR2 off-road spec, but still more menacing than the 2019 model thanks to the 2021 Colorado's bolder grille and larger vents. The Chevy bowtie emblem has also been tweaked, and the tailgate has embossed "Chevrolet" lettering replacing the Chevy bowtie on the previous model, matching the rear of the new Chevrolet Silverado.

However, there are no mechanical changes to speak of. Like the 2020 model, the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado is offered with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 200 hp and 191 lb-ft of torque, a 3.6-liter V6 rated at 308 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque, and a 2.8-liter Duramax four-cylinder diesel that produces 181 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. Three new colors, new wheel designs, and a one-inch lift kit have been added to the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado options list.

Pricing details haven't been officially announced yet, but a report earlier this year claims the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado will get a price increase. The Base Extended Cab version is expected to be discontinued, meaning the Extended Work Truck will be the cheapest trim starting at $26,395: that's $4,000 more expensive than the base 2020 Colorado. The 2021 Colorado LT Crew Cab, on the other hand, will only be $100 more expensive, while other trims will see an increase of around $500. Availability hasn't been confirmed yet, but production of the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado will begin at the end of June.
