Ever since the rollout of the Tesla Cybertruck - and who can forget Elon's epic window fail too! - critics and the public alike have been split over its controversial design. There's no denying its specifications of course or its performance, as it seems to deliver on range, towing, and a host of other metrics. But what if you want something more? What if your Model S and your wife's Model 3 are getting lonely in the garage and you find yourself besieged in your cul-de-sac? Well, the folks at Armormax have cooked up just the kooky electric behemoth for you. I give you the Armormax Bulletproof Tesla Cybertruck. Let's give her the once over.
Armormax Cybertruck
The International Armoring Corporation was founded on the "...basic principle of manufacturing the finest, most technologically advanced armored passenger vehicles in the world." They offer a series of up armoring packages for passengers cars, trucks, vans and even specialty vehicles you're unlikely to see outside of a free-fire zone. The current offering takes the yet to be released Tesla Cybertruck outfitting her with a complete armoring package offering ballistic protection from levels B4-B7.
Armored Windows Too!
The Armormax package includes treating the entire passenger compartment including the roof, doors, floors, and pillar posts with light synthetic fiber laminates and air hardened heat treated alloys. Elon will also be happy to know that the original glass is removed and replaced with a layered, acrylic polycarbonate laminate. The package also includes armoring of critical components such as the battery, radiator, gas tank and ECU. And to handle the extra weight the suspension is thoroughly beefed up.
When And How Much
A release date and pricing have not been announced as much relies on the Tesla timetable which, if past releases are any indication, is notoriously late. But they have an assortment of cars available right now including some nice packages for the Model 3 and S. Buckle up.
