Will United States get more two-door Chevy Silverado 1500 trucks, like this cool two-door short-bed 2020 Silverado Trail Boss? The truck you see here made its debut in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) last year. Two-door trucks are more popular in that part of the world.
Now, an image of this two-door Trail Boss off-road 4×4 truck appears on a media gallery link on a U.S.A-based media website. Is this a typo or a foreshadowing of things to come?
We think this is a typo. The red Trail Boss truck is a very unique short wheelbase configuration, that is not available on the U.S.-based online configurator. Two-door trucks are no longer popular in the United States. Crew cabs and long beds rule the sales charts over here. It is very difficult to find a two-door regular cab work truck with a long bed in the United States. I looked online at several local Chevy truck dealers (in Colorado), and none are currently available.
Still, this cannot stop us from dreaming about these “forbidden fruit” trucks that are available in the UAE and elsewhere around the world.
