This is exactly what happened to the Bevo-Inspired Jeep Gladiator, as it was commissioned by a Texas resident and made by Off Road Evolution, the Californian based custom shop. They completely modified the vehicle to be suitable for its tough southern homeland.
The gladiator is already a beast, an incredible monster, but when the midsize pickup truck, that’s manufactured by the wildest brand in America, the Jeep company, is modified, then you expect to get a beautiful Frankenstein that is tougher than any landform it faces.
This is exactly what happened to this wonderful truck, the Bevo-Inspired Jeep Gladiator, as the unseen truck made its dashing debut to the public.

14 The brains behind the Wheels
We can confidently say that the brains behind the Bevo Jeep Gladiator is Mel Wade, which should come as no surprise from his long list of achievements that he has recorded with his company Off Road Evolution. Mel isn’t shy about his discoveries as he shows off his outrageous rides in events such as the Alcan 5000 Rally and on social media.

An alumnus of the University of Texas, Brad Beldon decided to have a newly made customized Jeep Gladiator Off-road truck made in honor of his College. From research we did, it also appears that Brad Beldon is the CEO of the Beldon group of companies based in San Antonio, Texas.
12 Built by Off Road Evolution
Brad Beldon’s Bevo Gladiator was built and customized by the Off-Road Evolution shop in Fullerton, California. The Company is already well known as one of the very few experts in the off-road customization scene. The company prides itself as the makers of high earned, high quality Jeeps that are unmatched in off-road, rock crawling, and Overlanding capabilities.

The University of Texas is a school that prides itself on helping its students reach their professional goals with their careers and life. So it’s no surprise that one of the school's successful students, Brad Beldon, decided to have his custom made Jeep Gladiator made in honor of the school that had a great impact on his life.
10 It got a Tough Engine
When driving in rocky terrains or the desert, you need a tough engine. This is why the Gladiator beast Mel and his Evo team put together has the tough Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine installed as its power station. The Chrysler-made engine can output a strong 300 hp and 260 pound-foot of torque for the Beast.

The Jeep brand is known for its hard shell body exterior and styling and this is no different for the Bevo Gladiator. However, this was completely accentuated, as the Off-Road Evolution crew saw the inclusion of some very agile and juggernaut features, which only makes the Bevo gladiator stand out in a special way.
8 A Tribute to the Texas Longhorns
The Bevo is the live mascot of the University of Texas, UT. The Bevo is featured in the athletic programs of UT and is dressed in burnt orange and white, which is where the university colors were derived from. The sports program of UT is an integral part of the school and is one UT takes great pride in, especially football.
7 Body Color of the Truck
Like we have earlier highlighted, the color of the Bevo mascot of the University of Texas is the Punk’n Orange, which is the same thing as Burnt Orange. This color is the inspiration for the Jeep Gladiator and is featured from its external body to its interior and even wheels; the color turns out to be a very great choice also.

With this Monster at your side, you need not fear any darkness. As the double circular trademark lights of the Jeep brand is supported by the Off-Road Evolution’s full row Kc HiLites LED lights. The full row of these LED lights is about 8 units and if you’re familiar with LED lights, then you’ll know that this is a little too much, as these type of lightings intimidates darkness.
5 Gorgeous Interior
The only thing that comes close to the exterior design is the interior design of the Bevo Gladiator. Though, the customization maintained the same overall look of the Jeep Gladiator, the Bevo Gladiator had its seats completely remade and customized with the burnt orange treading in the seats and an EVO monogram. A look inside is just awesome.
4 Incredible Suspensions
For every Off-road vehicle, the only thing as important as the engine is the suspension. The Bevo Gladiator doesn’t fail in this, as it’s packed with a Dana Ultimate 60 Axle for its front and rear axle, an Evo made double throwdown Coilover, and double short arm kit. The front suspension is overpowered to climb through any difficult landform easily.
3 Standout Front Design
The Front design of the Bevo Jeep Gladiator is a combination of the traditional features of the Jeep and some outrageous fittings from Evo. The bumper of the Gladiator is made with Evo Quarter Pounder front bumper that’s combined with a strong stinger bumper, and complements the vehicle with beautiful aesthetics and functionality.
2 Hulkish Tires and Wheels
The incredible Hulkish Jeep is made with finely weaved 17x9-inches Kmc Grenade crawler wheels that combine finely perforated and punk’n orange-colored designs. The wheels are accompanied by the humongous 40x13-inches 50R17 Nitto trail grappler M/T tires that are next to none when it comes to off-road capabilities.
