January 18, 2021 | 2021 Honda Ridgeline Kicking Up Mud

By Aaron Bragman

Honda has given the 2021 Ridgeline pickup truck a mild update, with some new front-end styling, a few new interior bits, some new packages and now-standard all-wheel drive — and along with the new look comes a new, higher price, which Honda has just announced.

Four trim levels are still offered for the 2021 Ridgeline: Sport, RTL, RTL-E and Black Edition. The Sport trim starts out at $37,665 (all prices include a $1,175 destination charge), or $350 more than the outgoing 2020 model. This is the least expensive version of the Ridgeline now that the old front-wheel-drive Sport has been discontinued, meaning the least expensive Ridgeline available jumps $2,590 from the 2020 to 2021 model years. But again, this does now include extra equipment like standard AWD.

The 2021 RTL starts at $40,645, a $650 jump over the outgoing model, while the RTL-E trim comes in $400 higher than the 2020 version at $43,595. Once again topping the lineup is the Black Edition, which rings in at $45,095, also $400 more than the outgoing ’20 model.
New Packages

In addition to the new pricing, Honda also announced pricing for the four dealer-installed accessory packages that will be available on all trim levels of the Ridgeline. The Honda Performance Development Package that includes a unique grille, HPD emblem, black fender flares, bronze-painted wheels and special bed graphics will ring in at $2,800. The three other packages are Utility ($1,465), Function ($270) and Function Plus ($1,315). Honda has not yet specified exactly what additional equipment those other three packages comprise, however.
