Honda Steals 2018 SEMA Show With Ridgeline Concept:
We take a slow walk around one of the most interesting concept vehicles at the recent 2018 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show: the Honda Rugged Open Air Vehicle. It basically looks like huge backcountry side-by-side; however, all the parts inside and underneath are Ridgeline parts. The body and bed designs are straight from Honda's Pioneer 1000 lineup of personal work and play open-cab utility vehicles. Although it doesn't have a tilt dump bed or convertible rear-seat setup, the ROAV does offer a fully Rhino-lined interior and Civic Type R seats and belts.
We lobbied Honda execs pretty hard to let us take a few laps in the buggy in the desert, but they said they'd get back to us. We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, here's a closer look
