Jeep's Most Luxurious Wrangler Returns For 2021
Giving the people something the Ford Bronco can't.
Whatever your thoughts on the Jeep Wrangler High Altitude - Jeep's attempt to make a more posh, luxurious 4x4 for customers who maybe aren't all about the whole "off-roading" thing - the model was a hit. It was such a hit, in fact, that Jeep is officially bringing it back for the 2021 model year, according to Mopar Insiders.
The Wrangler High Altitude essentially borrows a play from Land Rover's playbook, eschewing rugged off-road toughness for quilted Nappa leather and big, glossy wheels, giving traditional luxury buyers with an affinity for the Wrangler's image a reason to buy.
For 2021, the familiar 2.0L turbo four-cylinder engine will be standard, with FCA's trusty 3.6L Pentastar and 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 available as extra-cost options. It will come with a brand new exterior color option called Snazzberry - basically a rich burgundy color that we saw on the Jeep Gladiator High Altitude - which will join Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, and Billet Silver to complete the palette.
Just as before, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler High Altitude will ride on 20-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels, and every example will feature an LED Lighting Package, body-color exterior bits like the hardtop, fender flares, bumpers, and door handles, and standard side steps.
