Supercharged Jeep Wrangler Could Steal The Show At SEMA

It also comes with an electric-retractable roof which wasn’t on the original options list.

The annual SEMA show is just around the corner, where tuners gather to showcase copious amounts of crazy custom cars. Ford recently announced it will be bringing five custom-built Mustangs to the show, along with several modified SUVs and crossovers. Not to be outdone, Raw Motorsports, an aftermarket tuner that specializes in creating high-performance off-roaders, has presented its unique take on the Jeep Wrangler.

Dubbed the ‘Rawbicon,’ the build is based on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon and will make its public debut at the 2018 SEMA show later this month. Under the hood, the engine has been replaced with a larger, more powerful 6.4-liter SRT 392 HEMI V8 paired with a Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger and a matching six-speed transmission.

At the owner’s request, Raw Motorsports added a plethora of modifications to make the Wrangler even more off-road capable. Among the list of additions include a long-arm suspension kit and stage 2 front sway bar, Eibach racing coil springs, King Shocks coilover shocks and air bump shocks. It also features a custom stainless-steel rear bumper, custom 2.5-inch exhaust tips, and 20-inch off-road wheels wrapped in chunky 40-inch TOYO MT Open Country tires, allowing the Wrangler to tackle virtually any terrain.

Unlike the standard Wrangler, the Rawbicon also comes with a My Top electric-retractable roof, which Raw Motorsport says adds a “fun in the sun look-and-feel."
