Mopar Retractable Bed Step for Ram 1500

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ Mopar parts brand has launched a new bed step for Ram 1500 pickup trucks equipped with the multifunction tailgate, as well as more than 100 accessories for the brand-new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX, Ram’s Ford F-150 Raptor-fighting off-road truck.
The new aluminum bed step is rated to 350 pounds, and it retracts under the rear bumper when not in use. It’s priced at $395 and can be purchased now as a vehicle option or separately. The step joins a family of bed steps that Ram already offers for 1500, 1500 Classic and heavy-duty trucks with a traditional tailgate. Ram’s multifunction tailgate is split 60/40 and can swing open from the center in addition to dropping down like a regular tailgate.
2021 Ram 1500 TRX With Mopar RamBar, LED Lights and Spare Tire Carrier
The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition just entered production this quarter, and Mopar has a range of accessories to personalize the desert-running truck. These include:
RamBar, $1,195: The RamBar consists of powder-coated tubular bars that mount to the truck bed aft of the cab. It includes tie-down points and is designed to work with Mopar’s off-road LED lights.
Off-road LED lights, $595: Sold as a set, the lights attach to the RamBar and produce 4,800 lumens each. The lights sit in an aluminum housing and include light covers with the Mopar logo, a wiring harness and a switch.
Bed-mounted spare-tire carrier, $995: The removable spare-tire carrier has a black powder-coat finish and can hold up to a 37-inch wheel and tire.
Rock rails, $1,195: The off-road rock rails are made of aluminum and attached to the TRX with high-strength steel brackets. They’re also finished in a black powder coat and include integrated step pads.
Beadlock wheel rings, $205: Made of forged aluminum, the wheel ring clamps the outer tire bead to the TRX’s optional beadlock-capable wheels.
